Responsible Service Guidelines

The Hampton RSL Club is committed to the highest levels of responsible service and customer care. We have policies and procedures in place to ensure that all staff deliver our services in a manner which maximises customer enjoyment and at the same time minimises the potential for harm.

Responsible Service of Alcohol Policy

The Hampton RSL Club maintains that the responsible service of alcohol is a responsibility shared by both the venue and the customer. We are committed to the service of alcohol to our customers in a professional and responsible manner, complying with all applicable laws and adhering to endorsed Liquor Service Codes of Practice.
We recognise that alcohol abuse and alcohol consumption by minors are serious social issues. Our staff are trained in Responsible Service of Alcohol and actively promote responsible alcohol consumption by our customers. We also require current valid photographic proof of age identification to be provided by young adults before they are supplied with alcohol at our venue.

Dress Code

Appearance must be clean, neat and tidy at all times. Caps, hats, hoodies, singlets, ripped or torn clothing, offensive motifs on clothes, bare feet, thongs, soiled footwear, slippers and Ugg boots are not permitted to be worn in the club.

 Ode to the Fallen

At 6.00pm each evening club patrons and staff are asked to observe a minute’s silence. This is an ode to commemorate the Australian service men and women who tragically gave their lives whilst serving their country. All services and activities will cease and all persons are required to stand and refrain from all activities during the one-minute silence.
